Eclipse Viewing Looking Good for Most
Sunday, Aug. 20, 8:00 PM
Things are still looking good for the Eclipse! We're expecting great viewing conditions across most of our area. However, the Oregon coast is still the wild card. The marine layer looks to be pretty thin Monday morning but it's hard to say whether low clouds will obscure your view within the path of totality. It's certainly still a strong possibility.
Aside from the clouds, we can tell you that temperatures will be noticeably warmer tomorrow, with highs near 90 degrees in Portland. Chief Meteorologist Mark Nelsen will have your forecast tonight at 10 and Andy Carson will be joining our live coverage of the eclipse on Good Day Oregon, beginning at 4:30 a.m. You won't want to miss it!
