Missoula, MT -- (Sports Network) - Andrew Strait scored 16 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead the Montana Grizzlies to an 81-66 victory over the Northern Colorado Bears in Big Sky action at the Dahlberg Arena. Ryan Staudacher and Cameron Rundles also contributed 16 points apiece for Montana (14-14, 8-7 BSC), while Jordan Hasquet tallied 14 points to go along with nine rebounds and five assists. Ceylon Elgin-Taylor dished out 11 assists for Montana, which has won two consecutive games. Jabril Banks scored 15 points for Northern Colorado (12-16, 5-10), while Devon Beitzel posted 12 points in the loss. Sean Taibi and Neal Kingman chipped in 11 and 10 points, respectively for the Bears. The Grizzlies went into the break with a commanding, 48-32 lead, thanks to a 56.3 percent shooting effort from the floor, which included a 9-of-20 clip from long range. Montana only shot 40.0 percent from the field in the second half, but was able to hold on for the 15-point victory. The Grizzlies connected on 11-of-29 three-point attempts in the contest, while Northern Colorado made just 5-of-15 shots from long range.
