NCAA Game Summary - Oregon At Washington State

(Sports Network) - The Oregon Ducks ran for 346 yards and seven touchdowns, as they cruised past the Washington State Cougars, 63-14, in a Pac-10 affair at Martin Stadium.

LeGarrette Blount led the way for Oregon (4-1, 2-0 PAC-10) with 98 yards and three scores on 15 carries, while Jeremiah Johnson went for 88 yards and three more touchdowns on 10 attempts. Quarterback Jeremiah Masoli threw for 161 yards and two scores in the win, while Jaison Williams snared five balls for 105 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Marshall Lobbestael, a freshman making his first college start, headed the charge for WSU (1-4, 0-2) by converting 22-of-41 tosses for 192 yard, with two touchdowns against the same amount of picks. His main outlet was Brandon Gibson, who grabbed 10 passes for 103 yards.

The Ducks jumped all over WSU, scoring 21-straight points to open the game. Johnson first rumbled seven yards for a score before Masoli threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Williams. Oregon capped the first quarter scoring with a 13- yard touchdown scamper by Blount.

WSU finally got on the board with a Lobbestael nine-yard touchdown pass to Jeshua Anderson midway through the second quarter.

Oregon, though, responded with a 10-yard touchdown run by Johnson and a four- yard run by Blount for a 35-7 lead at the half.

It took the Ducks just over a minute to strike in the second half, as Masoli completed a 33-yard touchdown pass to Williams.

Johnson then rumbled two yards for a score, giving Oregon a commanding 49-7 advantage.

Oregon continued to pour it on, as Blount scampered four yards for a score with under a minute left in the third quarter.

Midway though the fourth quarter, Darron Thomas posted a seven-yard touchdown run to push Oregon ahead 63-7.

Lobbestael hooked up with Michael Willis on a nine-yard scoring strike late in the game, but it wasn't nearly enough for WSU.

Oregon rolled up 507 yards of total offense in the game, while holding WSU to just 271 yards. The Ducks also forced four turnovers and committed none themselves.
