Wynn Las Vegas and Le Rêve Sweepstakes
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. 2. Watch Good Day Oregon, Monday through Friday, from 6:00am-7:00am starting July 7, 2008 through July 11, 2008. An audio and video announcement will provide the daily code word. Then go to kptv.com, complete the registration and enter the daily code word. There is no cost to register or enter. Sweepstakes begins July 7, 2008 and ends July 11, 2008. One entry per e-mail address per day. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on July 11, 2008.
3. Entrants must be legal residents of OR and WA and18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of KPTV, Meredith Corporation, Travelworm.com, Winn Las Vegas and Mixed Media Entertainment, their agents, affiliates, subsidiaries and members of their immediate families or persons residing in the same household are not eligible. Winners of a prize from KPTV within the past thirty (30) days from the beginning date of this sweepstakes are not eligible.
4. One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received containing the correct daily code word on or about July 18, 2008 under the supervision of KPTV. All decisions of KPTV regarding winner selection and this sweepstakes are final. Winner will be notified by e-mail or mail and prize available for pick up at KPTV on or about July 25, 2008. KPTV is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries. KPTV is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure of KPTV to receive entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or the Web site or any combination thereof. KPTV also is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other’s computer related to or resulting from entering the sweepstakes. KPTV reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel sweepstakes if it becomes technically corrupted or because of non-authorized human intervention. In the event of cancellation, the prizes will be awarded by a random drawing from among all eligible entries received, containing the correct daily code word, up to the date of cancellation. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the person whose name the corresponding e-mail account is registered to. All entries become the property of KPTV and will not be returned.
5. One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a trip prize package voucher, including roundtrip coach airfare for two (2) from Portland International Airport to Las Vegas, approximate retail value (“ARV”) $600; two (2) nights hotel accommodations at Wynn Las Vegas in a resort room, ARV $800; two (2) tickets to see Le Rêve, RV $358; and $100 dinner for two (2) at Corsa Cucina & Bar at Wynn Las Vegas; total prize package ARV $1,858. Prize must be redeemed by November 30, 2008. Blackout dates, holiday restrictions and other restrictions may apply. Winner is responsible for all other expenses not listed, including but not limited to travel insurance; hotel room service; parking fees; laundry service; food; alcoholic beverages; merchandise, souvenirs, etc.; local and long distance telephone calls; tips, gratuities, service charges, hotel fees or taxes; and all other charges not explicitly included in the package pursuant to these Official Rules. Prize is non-transferable. No substitutions or cash in lieu of prize except at discretion of KPTV. KPTV reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater if prize cannot be awarded as described.
6. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received containing the correct daily code.
7. Entry constitutes permission for KPTV to use winner’s name, hometown, likeness, photograph, voice and statements regarding this sweepstakes for editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes on behalf of KPTV and Meredith Corporation without compensation unless prohibited by law. Winner will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability/Publicity unless prohibited by law, within two (2) days of notification. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to claim prize, fails to comply with all rules, is unable to travel on dates of prize or attend event on prize date or fails to respond to the winner notification, the selected winner is disqualified and the prize is forfeited. If forfeited, another winner will be selected from among the eligible entries containing the correct daily code word by random drawing. Travel Companion (parent/guardian if a minor) will be required to complete and return a Liability/Publicity Release prior to confirming reservations. Subject to all U.S. federal, OR and WA state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner will be issued a 1099 tax form in the amount of the actual prize value.
8. By participating and winning a prize, winner releases KPTV, Meredith Corporation, Travelworm.com, Winn Las Vegas and Mixed Media Entertainment, their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in the sweepstakes or any prize awarded.
