Tip: Marsala Wine

The best Marsala wine is imported from Sicily. It has a rich, smoky flavor that can range from sweet to dry. Like port, sherry, and other dessert wines, this is a "fortified" wine, a wine to which brandy (or another spirit) has been added, increasing the alcoholic content and enhancing the flavor.
