Listeria Concerns Prompt Recall

Double B Foods in Texas is recalling about 98,000 pounds of frozen sausage roll products. There is concern about potential listeria contamination.

Recall Release

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced the company's voluntary recall Thursday.

The USDA said the frozen sausage rolls were produced between Oct. 25 and Nov. 6. The company found the potential problem during an in-plant testing program.

The company said there have been no reports of illness.

In addition to being sold in Texas, the products were distributed to institutions, catalog sales and distribution centers in Pennsylvania and ten other states.
