The victim of an armed carjacking has his SUV back, but he's afraid for his family's safety. The victim, whose identity is being protected, told FOX 12 that the carjacking was the scariest thing that ever happened to him.He said he got lost driving in Delta Park in North Portland around 3 a.m. Friday morning and pulled up alongside two men to ask for directions. He said the men took one look at his white Oldsmobile Bravada and pointed a gun at him.
"They said, 'We can do this the easy way or the hard way,'" said the victim. "They put the gun on the window and they were like, 'Give me your car.' I was like, 'Whoa. Alright, I'll just get out.'"The victim was not injured in the carjacking and called police from a nearby Shari's restaurant.Police recovered the SUV in Vancouver Friday night, but the victim is concerned because the robbers have his home address and other personal information."It was on my insurance. There was probably lots of other stuff with my information on it. I don't know what these guys are capable of," said the victim. The carjackers are described as in the 20s. One man was white, 5 foot 10 inches tall and 160 pounds. The second man is described as Hispanic, heavy set and about 5 foot 7 inches.Anyone with information is urged to call Portland police.
