Lincoln City Police Seek Man In Sexual Assault

LINCOLN CITY, Ore. -- Police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a teenage girl earlier this week.A 16-year-old girl told police she was walking along the highway when the man grabbed her, showed her a weapon and forced her onto the side of the street.She was able to get away and call for help.It happened Monday near the Northeast 1300 block of Highway 101.
The man is described as Hispanic and in his late teens to early 20s. He is between 5 feet and 5 feet 4 inches tall with a thin build.He has short, dark hair and dark eyes and was wearing a light-colored sweatshirt and dark blue jeans.Anyone with information is asked to call 541-994-3636.
