VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Vancouver police officers arrested a man Tuesday on charges he robbed the same credit union two times in seven days.Lucas Smith, 26, is accused of robbing the People's Community Credit Union on Southeast 12th Street on Monday and on April 28.Police said Smith turned himself in Tuesday just after 8:30 a.m. Detectives with the police department's Major Crimes Unit interviewed him and then arrested him.Police said Smith acted alone in the crimes.
Officers said they received several tips from the public through the Vancouver Police Department tip line.Previous story:
