Men Rob Food Truck At Gunpoint

Robbers Brandished Gun, Knife

Two men robbed a food truck using a gun and knife in a Big Lots! parking lot Wednesday night, deputies said.

Deputies are continuing to investigate a robbery that occurred in the parking lot of the Big Lots! on SW Tualatin-Valley Highway and 185th Avenue.

The victim flagged down Washington County deputies and told them that the men robbed the truck a little before 11:30 p.m. and got away with about $500 and a cell phone, investigators said.

One of the men was armed with a knife and the other was armed with a pistol and both ran northbound on 185th Avenue., deputies said.

A K-9 unit searched for the two men but the robbers weren't found.

The robbers were described as Hispanic men, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 150 to 160 pounds.

Both men were wearing gray hooded sweatshirts with bandanas around their faces at the time of the robbery.
