Portland police served a search warrant at an apartment complex in Gresham on Tuesday in hopes of finding an identity theft suspect.

Officers raided the home in search of David William Hutchinson, who is accused of being involved in a local identity theft ring.

Inside the home, police said they found a laptop, copies of counterfeit money and filled-out credit card applications in other people's names.

Officers arrested Valerie Kaufman, Hutchinson's girlfriend, during the warrant search.

Hutchinson's brother, Wayne, was also present at the house at the time, but officers said he doesn't appear to be involved.

Anyone with information on Hutchinson's whereabouts is asked to call Portland police.
