GRESHAM, Ore. -- A surveillance camera caught a man stealing an iPod Touch from an employee at a Gresham restaurant Monday.Anita Chen, an employee at The Lucky Buffet in Gresham, said she had received the iPod in the mail, taken it out of a box and set it next to the cash register. As soon as she stepped away, the thief and three accomplices began forming a plan to steal it, Chen said. The man and three women had eaten dinner at the Lucky Buffet at around 6:30 p.m."They kind of communicate over the phone; they tell him it's clear to come up and grab the stuff and go," Chen said.Surveillance video showed the man reaching over the counter, grabbing the iPod and running away.Chen said the group had to have noticed the surveillance system."They know they were caught on camera the whole time, but they were still doing it," she said.Chen and her co-workers hope someone is able to identify the man or the women in the video.Anyone with information is asked to call Gresham police.
