Police are searching for three men who held up a poker game at a southeast Portland house Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the home on Southeast 114th Avenue near Holgate Boulevard at about 3:45 a.m.

Eighteen people were playing poker in the home's garage when the robbers burst in while carrying guns. They used pepper spray on the poker players.

A man who attended the poker game said one of the robbers held a 9mm gun to his temple during the robbery. The poker player also said there was likely thousands of dollars stolen during the game. The thieves took all the money and left.

The poker party appeared to be a long-standing, regular private game.

There were no significant injuries in the crime but two people were treated by paramedics at the scene.

Portland police have not released any description of the thieves.
