Video Help
Can I watch the livestream in KPTV'S new video player?
Yes, just follow this link.

What do I need to view the video?
To view Windows Media video, you are required to have Windows Media Player 9 or higher. You can download Windows Media Player 9 Series from the following Microsoft Windows Media Technologies Web site:

Download Windows Media Player

Macintosh users will need the latest version of Flip4Mac WMV. This free utility allows Mac users to watch Windows Media Video.

Hardware requirements for each player are linked on the download pages.

What does the Switch to Full Screen button do?
The Switch to Full Screen button enlarges the video to fill your entire monitor. Press ESC to close full screen mode.

I click on a video link and nothing happens. What can I do?
You may have a pop up blocker installed that is preventing the video player from launching. Disable the pop up blocker to view the video.

Sometimes the audio and video do not play at the same time. I have all of the recommended software and hardware to view video. What is wrong?
You may need to change a setting in your Windows Media Player Plugin. When viewing a video, right-click in the video window, select "Options...", select the "Performance" tab, and click on "Advanced...". Make sure that the "Use Video Mixing Renderer" box is checked and that "Use overlays" and "Use high quality mode" are not checked. Click OK to all dialogues and refresh the web page. If that does not work, the problem may be with the drivers for your video card. Check the manufacturer's website for updated drivers, and try turning off video acceleration in Windows Media Player:

1. Click Start, then Programs or All Programs, then click Windows Media Player.
2. From the menu bar click Tools, then click Options. If the menu bar is not visible, right-click Windows Media Player, then click Options.
3. Click the Performance tab.
4. At the bottom, drag the Video Acceleration bar to the left.
5. Click the OK button.
