FOREST GROVE, Ore. -- Police said they seized drugs and guns from two Forest Grove apartments Tuesday.

Forest Grove police obtained search warrants claiming both prescription and illegal drugs were being trafficked and traded for stolen items out of the apartments.

During the search, police said they found prescription drugs morphine and hydrocodone. Liquid methadone and small amounts of methamphetamine were also found, they said. In addition to drugs, officers said they seized two shotguns, one revolver, digital scales, baggies and a spiral notebook with possible drug records.

A small amount of methamphetamine was also found on one of the residents of the apartment.

The investigation is ongoing.
