Police arrested a Tualatin man with a history of dealing drugs for the second time in seven months last week.

Authorities arrested Alejandro Ortiz, 41, for possessing and dealing methamphetamine and cocaine Saturday. Officers said they seized 1 ounce of methamphetamine and cocaine.

Oritz is being charged with delivery and possession of cocaine and methamphetamine. He is currently lodged at the Washington County Jail.

Last May, Tualatin police searched Ortiz’s home, located at 19543 SW Hopi Court in Tualatin, and found a half-pound of methamphetamine and cocaine, as well as $500 cash. He later pleaded guilty.

Ortiz’s two children, ages 11 and 2, were taken into protective custody.
