Suns Sign Robin Lopez

Phoenix, AZ -- (Sports Network) - The Phoenix Suns signed rookie center Robin Lopez on Thursday. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 15th overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, Lopez averaged 8.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.33 blocked shots in 67 career games (61 starts) at Stanford University. He was named to the Pac-10's All-Defensive Team as a sophomore last season.

Lopez will make his professional debut at the 2008 NBA Summer League.

The New Jersey Nets selected Lopez's twin brother and Stanford teammate Brook with 10th overall pick in the 2008 draft.
