PORTLAND, Ore. -- Police responded to a report of a homeowner who allegedly shot at an intruder Monday in southeast Portland.Police said Sean Newsome, 30, and one other person broke into a home near Southeast 160th Avenue and Powell Boulevard. Newsome and the victimOfficers said Newsome ran from the home but a K-9 unit found him a short time later. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of an asthma attack.Police said Newsome is a Bloods gang member from Los Angeles and that the gang enforcement team has taken over the investigation.Newsome is facing charges of robbery and felon in possession of a firearm.Officers said they think more people may have been involved.
