Police: Nursing Home Worker Arrested In Sex Abuse Case

STAYTON, Ore. -- A retirement community employee has been arrested on charges he sexually abused a 70-year-old woman in 2005, the Stayton Police Department said Thursday.The alleged victim was a resident at Marian Estates, a retirement community in Sublimity.On Thursday, John Alvin Taylor, a former worker at Marian Estates, was arrested at his home. He is being held at the Marion County Corrections Facility on numerous charges.The Stayton Police Department, the Oregon Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services all participated in the investigation.No other details have been released.
