GRESHAM, Ore. -- A confidential informant tipped Multnomah County investigators to the discovery of an alleged marijuana growing operation near a day-care center Friday.A husband and wife could face marijuana possession and distribution charges after authorities said an estimated $53,760 worth of marijuana plants were found at their Gresham home.A special investigations team said they found 21 marijuana plants in the basement of the home on Southeast 174th Avenue. Authorities said the plants could yield up to 10 ½ pounds of usable marijuana. There were no arrests made at the home, but deputies said the case will be sent to a grand jury.DeAnn Moore, 38, and Vince Moore, 45, are suspects in the operation, deputies said. Vince Moore was not home during the search because he was on a Boy Scout camping trip with the couple's 13- and 11-year-old sons, according to authorities.
