Police have arrested a man accused of shooting a teenage boy at an outlet mall in Lincoln City.

Police said 17-year-old Hector Canales-Robles was taken into custody around 5 a.m. on Monday.

Authorities said Canales-Robles shot 18-year-old Ty Pedersen in the jaw during an armed robbery at the Springmaid Wamsutta store inside the Tanger Outlet Mall on Saturday.

Canales-Robles is charged with robbery, attempted murder, assault and kidnapping.

Pedersen remains in serious, but stable, condition at Emanuel Hospital in North Portland, according to police.
