FBI: 'Grocery Store Bandit' Hit 8 Oregon Banks

PORTLAND, Ore. -- The FBI is asking for the public's help in identifying a man they dubbed the "Grocery Store Bandit."Investigators said the man is responsible for at least eight robberies, stretching from Portland to Eugene, in the last six months.In three of the robberies, he targeted bank branches inside grocery stores, according to the FBI. He also implied he had a weapon during at least one robbery, authorities said.The FBI has released several surveillance images of the man. Authorities said he wore a hat during the robberies, and in some of the robberies he also wore sunglasses and a wig.The man is described as black, in his late 20s to early 30s, thin and athletic. He has a light complexion and stands between 6 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 4 inches tall.Anyone with information on the identity of the man is asked to call the FBI at 503-224-4181.
