ALBANY, Ore. -- A 17-year-old South Albany High School student has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing a 7-year-old girl.Jeremy Rogers is accused of sexually abusing a girl while he was baby-sitting. Police said the alleged victim is the daughter of a family friend and that the alleged abuse may have gone on for nine months.His classmates at South Albany High School said they were stunned by the charges.They said Rogers had been quiet, but had close friends and a girlfriend.Police said they arrested Rogers after receiving several tips.They charged him with sodomy, sex abuse and attempted rape. He is being charged and treated as an adult, according to officials.
