Clark County deputies are searching for a man who's been missing for several days.Search and rescue teams are scouring the area near Larch Mountain in hopes of locating 38-year-old Rodney Lee.Lee was last seen driving away from Value Village on Forth Plain in Vancouver in his mom's Jeep Liberty on July 16.On July 20, 911 dispatchers received a call about a 2002 Jeep Liberty abandoned on a rural road near Jackson Pass.
According to deputies, it appeared the Jeep had been driven down a walking trail approximately 100 feet before getting stuck. The vehicle was unlocked and had a small side window broken out.Deputies contacted the registered owner, Lee's mother, who became concerned for her son and filed a missing person report. She said it's not like Lee to go six days without calling home.Search and rescue crews looked for Lee for four hours and resumed the search early Sunday morning. The search area consists of dense forest and steep terrain, making efforts difficult.Deputies and search crews are trying to eliminate the possibility that Lee walked away from his vehicle and got lost.Lee is 6 feet 1 inches tall with brown hair and a goatee.Anyone with information is urged to contact the Clark County Sheriff's Office.
