Matt Roloff, who stars in the show "Little People, Big World" on The Learning Channel, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Roloff appeared in Washington County Court on Monday.

On June 19 at 11:52 p.m., a Washington County deputy pulled over Roloff, 45, in his white 2005 Chevrolet van as he was driving west on West Union Road near Cornelius Pass Road.

Deputies said Roloff failed a field sobriety test and was arrested. He was taken to the Washington County Jail and cited on charges of DUII, refusing a breath test and failing to drive within a lane.

In a statement from TLC, a spokesperson said they will not comment until court proceedings have run their course.

Last month's incident wasn't the first time Roloff has been linked to a driving under the influence charge. In 2003, Roloff had a DUII charge dismissed after he completed an alcohol diversion program.

“Little People, Big World” is a reality television show that focuses mostly on the lives of Roloff, his wife and his son, all of whom are dwarfs.

Roloff and his family live on a farm in Helvetia. The Roloffs were most recently in the news last fall when their 9-year-old son, Jacob, was injured by a pumpkin catapult on the family's farm.
