Bank Of America Robbed In Vancouver

VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Police say a man robbed a Bank of America in downtown Vancouver on Monday.The man walked into the bank on 805 Broadway St. and handed a bank teller a note. According to police, a gun was implied, but no weapon was seen during the robbery.After taking the money, the man left through the building's west doors, police said.Officers immediately responded to the area but they never found the robber.
The man is described as white, between 25 and 27 years old and between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall. He has a medium build and brown hair.Police said he was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket and a white shirt. He was also carrying a black backpack with a clear, plastic cover.Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call police.
