Cell Phone Photo Leads To Burglary Arrest

A burglary suspect was arrested Monday after deputies found a picture of his girlfriend on a stolen cell phone, according to the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said the home of Michelle Howell had been broken into last week. She and her husband reported that thousands of dollars worth of tools, jewelry, coins and hunting and fishing gear were stolen in the burglary.

Howell's cell phone was also missing. However, her mother received a phone call from someone who said they found the cell phone in a Kelso Laundromat.

A Cowlitz County deputy retrieved the phone and found pictures of a woman on the phone.

Deputies showed the phone to Howell and her husband, and they recognized that one of the pictures was of Cindy McAllister, whose daughter is a friend of Howell's 10-year-old daughter.

Deputies said McAllister later admitted that her boyfriend, Robin "Rocky" Millican, 44, committed the burglary.

She also let deputies search a motor home she shared with Millican.

Cowlitz County authorities said they found a few of the stolen items and then arrested Millican after finding him hidden in his mother's home.

He was booked into jail on a charge of burglary.
