Teens Arrested In Evergreen HS Bomb Threat

VANCOUVER, Wash. -- A 14-year-old and 15-year-old have been arrested in connection with a bomb threat made at Evergreen High School.Police said a school employee found a threatening note and a suspicious device just after 6 a.m. Monday.The note had been taped to an outside door at the school.Vancouver police and the Metro Explosive Disposal Unit responded to the school and conducted a precautionary sweep of the school, but no more devices were found.The 14-year-old was booked into the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center on charges of threats to bomb, malicious placement of imitation device, intimidation or harassment with an explosive, false reporting and disturbing school.The 15-year-old was booked on charges of criminal conspiracy for threats to bomb.
