Beaverton Lawyer Charged With Cyberstalking

A respected Beaverton attorney charged with cyberstalking has been accused of sending nude photos of her ex-boyfriend to his boss.

Rhonda Antell, 50, was described by neighbors and friends Wednesday as a dedicated mom who served on a committee at Hiteon Elementary School.

But court documents described a much different picture of a woman accused of concocting an elaborate scheme to sabotage her ex-boyfriend.

Antell, who has lived in her Beaverton home for several years, tried to frame her longtime boyfriend, authorities said.

Using someone else’s name, Antell sent her ex-boyfriend’s employer e-mails that accused her ex-boyfriend of sexual harassment, police said.

Police also said Antell set up an account for the victim on a dating Web site that is primarily used to solicit sex. The documents claim Antell posted nude photos of the man on the site.

In addition, the documents said Antell left the man threatening and lewd voicemails by electronically altering her voice.

Lisa Hobson, a long-time neighbor and friend, said she and Antell were in bible study together.

"I'm shocked," said Lisa Hobson, a long-time neighbor and friend. "That’s not the Rhonda I know."

Seattle prosecutors charged Antell earlier this week.

A representative with the Oregon State Bar said Antell has had a clean disciplinary record, but the Bar has launched its own investigation into the case.
