More Swastika Flags Fly In Tigard

TIGARD, Ore. -- A swastika flag spotted above a strip mall on Highway 99W in Tigard on Monday was the latest in a series of similar reports.The flag is one of at least four cases of Nazi flags flying in Tigard in the last week. Last week, there were reports of swastika flags on Highway 217, Highway 99W and Interstate 5.
In addition to the flags, propaganda leaflets were dumped on the ground in a Tigard neighborhood Monday.
The flyers were scattered over Derry Dell Court. Some of them featured a swastika and the words Eternal Sun and Overthrow.com.Other flyers invited readers to test their level of anti-Semitism by answering a list of 30 questions.Tigard police have reported all of the incidents to the state biased crimes unit.Police said there were no suspects, but anyone who is caught could face trespassing and possibly criminal mischief charges in connection with some of the flags.
