Deputies are searching for three men who were caught on a department store security camera shoplifting Feb. 22, Detective Jim Strovink said.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify the three Hispanics that were witnessed by Sears security and recorded on surveillance cameras stealing property from the store at 6:23 p.m. Feb. 22, Strovink said.

When security tried to catch the men at the store in Happy Valley, they ran, avoiding apprehension, he said.

The men are all described as about 6 feet tall and in their mid-20s with medium builds and short black hair, deputies said.

One of the men was wearing a long-sleeved bright yellow shirt and a red baseball hat. The second man was wearing a black T-shirt and a black baseball hat. The third subject was wearing a brown T-shirt and a black baseball hat.

Anyone with information about the crime or the alleged thieves can contact the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Tip Line at 503-723-4949.
