PORTLAND, Ore. -- Scattered snow showers fell across the Portland metro area Thursday morning.The snow hit low elevation spots like Vancouver, Beaverton and Tualatin, but it didn’t accumulate on the valley floor.Send Us Your Weather Photos | Viewer PhotosLate Thursday morning, the snow showers are expected to switch to rain showers below 1,500 feet, according to FOX 12 meteorologist Drew Jackson.
The showers will also decrease Thursday afternoon, which could turn out to be dry and partly sunny.While it’s probably not the spring break that vacationers dreamed of, snow also dusted the beaches on the Oregon Coast on Wednesday. The snow fell in Astoria, Seaside, Cannon Beach and other coastal towns.Your News Video:
