Father Awaits Sentence For Shaking Baby

GRESHAM, Ore. -- A Gresham father is awaiting his sentence in the assault of his 6-week-old baby.Brandon Dinucci pleaded guilty to the charges in court Thursday.He was arrested last year after police suspected him of shaking his baby to stop her from crying. Doctors said the girl suffered from shaken baby syndrome.Initially, doctors didn’t expect the baby to come out of a vegetative state, but she recovered quickly and returned home.Dinucci could face five years in prison.
