PORTLAND, Ore. -- Homicide detectives are investigating a man’s death after his body was found at an east Portland apartment complex Wednesday night.

The man, who was in his 20s, was found on the third floor of the Hazelwood Station apartment complex just before 8:30 p.m. He had suffered at least one gunshot wound.

Police responded to the complex in the 14700 block of East Burnside on a report of shots fired. Officers said the man was dead when they arrived.

As of 11 p.m. Wednesday, detectives were still processing the crime scene.
