Woman Killed In Highway 99W Crash
Officials Say Three Cars Involved, One Fatality

NEWBERG, Ore. -- A Dayton woman died in a three-car crash on Highway 99W on Sunday.State police said Leonel Loeza, 26, was speeding northbound when he lost control of his Ford Taurus, crossed a grass center median and went airborne.Loeza's car crashed into a southbound Toyota Avalon. After the initial impact, Loeza's car also hit another car, police said.Carma Smith, the driver of the Toyota, died at the scene.
Loeza and two passengers in his car were seriously hurt. A LifeFlight helicopter took Loeza and Izquierdo Jonathan to hospitals and an ambulance took Nicholas Contreras to Newberg Providence Hospital.The crash closed Highway 99W for hours.
