The family of a man from Colton said it would like to find the hit-and-run driver who killed him.

Justin White, 23, was walking along Highway 211, south of Colton, early Friday morning, when he was struck by a vehicle.

His body was not found until the Friday afternoon.

Oregon State Police said no one has come forward with information about the case so far.

White's grandmother said he grew up in Colton and leaves behind a young daughter and her mother.

She said White sometimes had trouble sleeping, and would take walks.

She thinks that's what he was doing after midnight Friday.

He was not found until a utility worker saw his body in a ditch, about 1 p.m.

"Please help us find him. We'd like to find the person that did this, so we don't have to have it reopened three, four, or five years down the road, and get all emotional again," White's grandmother said.

Oregon State Police said no arrests have been made, and they have not located the car that hit White.
