The following is a statement released by Brinker International regarding the recent Chili’s closings:The manner in which the Oregon/Washington-area Chili’s restaurants were closed and employees notified by Quality Restaurants Northwest is not consistent with Brinker International practice. Our hearts go out to the team members who were affected. As such, Brinker would like to provide assistance by helping them find positions at Brinker portfolio restaurants or our industry colleagues in the area.As part of our new ownership of the remaining Chili’s restaurants, we’ve researched and are providing detailed information on management and hourly team member opportunities in the area. Employees of the Chili’s restaurants previously owned by Quality Restaurants Northwest, Inc. can call (800) 334 – 4783 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. CST for more details.Since these team members were employed by Quality Restaurants Northwest, we appreciate your assistance raising awareness of the hot line available to them.Additionally, operations management and Chili’s PeopleWorks team are on-site to interview displaced managers for opportunities with Brinker corporate-owned restaurants. As previously reported, Brinker is in the process of purchasing the Eugene and Clackamas locations.
