A man accused of driving under the influence crashed his SUV into a Tigard-area home Sunday morning.

Jeni Netzlof said her family heard a loud crash around 4:30 a.m. They ran outside and saw the driver of an SUV climbing out the passenger side.

Netzlof called 911. Washington County deputies responded and arrested the driver, 22-year-old Jose Mandujano-Lara, on charges of driving under the influence, criminal mischief, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person.

Deputies said Mandujano-Lara drove his Chevy Tahoe through a fence outside the home on Bull Mountain and Roshak roads.

Netzlof said it's the third time someone has crashed into her property. All three incidents have happened in the middle of the night.

"Since I've been here, we've had a drunk guy crash through the fence over there, and then last year we had another," Netzlof said. "Other drunk people crash into this tree and wipe out the fence."

Netzlof said she's still waiting for the county to address the problem.

"I've had everything rebuilt, I tried to get a stop light or barriers or something, and they wouldn't do that." Netzlof said. "They painted stripes on the road. And now this is a year and a couple months later; this is pretty bad."

The SUV hit close to where Netzlof's sons were sleeping.

Mandujano-Lara was released on his own personal recognizance and will be arraigned July 3.
