A man and woman died in a single-car crash in the Ridgefield area late Friday night.

Clark County sheriff's deputies said four people were in the 1998 Honda Accord when it crashed and rolled over while heading south on Northeast 29th Avenue, near 179th Street.

The crash happened at around 10 p.m.

Investigators said speed and alcohol were likely factors in the wreck.

Richard Broderick, 27, and Emily Dewey, 23, died in the crash. They were both seated in the back of the car.

The driver, 28-year-old Travis Gee, was in critical condition Sunday. Amber Clement, a 25-year-old passenger in the car, was also hurt, but her condition is unknown.
