Brooke Wilberger's parents have indicated that they wouldn't be opposed to accepting a deal in the trial of their daughter's kidnapping and slaying, if her body's location is revealed, according to the Gazette-Times.

The paper received an exclusive release, which stated that the parents fully supported the district attorney's approach to the case.

"We remain committed to the recovery of Brooke's remains, and fully support the Benton County District Attorney's efforts to do so within a reasonable period of time," read the statement from Greg and Cammy Wilberger.

Brooke Wilberger, who was 19 at the time, vanished from the parking lot of a Corvallis apartment building that she was helping her sister manage while Brooke was home for the summer from Brigham Young University.

The case has drawn increasing media attention as it progressed.

Joel Courtney became a suspect in the case when, prosecutors revealed, his van was identified in the disappearance and Brooke Wilberger's DNA was later discovered inside it.

The prosecutor has said that he will seek the death penalty against Courtney.

The court case is scheduled to begin Feb. 1, 2010, and Courtney's next court appearance will be July 25.
