AURORA, Ore. -- Police arrested an Aurora man Sunday who is accused of sexually abusing a minor.

The Aurora Police Department said Scott Knight was arrested Sunday following a six-month investigation.

Knight's aunt said police raided her home Sunday morning and arrested her nephew. She said they took some of his belongings, including his computer.

"They woke us up at 7:30, surrounded the house and there was like five or six police officers," said Diana Maus, Knight's aunt.

Knight was booked into jail on charges of rape, sex abuse, sodomy, kidnapping, sexual misconduct and contributing to sexual delinquency of a minor.

Maus said she had no idea who the victim could be and she finds the accusation hard to believe.

"It doesn't sound like him at all," she said. "I mean, I would say he's a good kid. He's hard-working, he goes to work every day, does his job and everything."

Knight was being held without bail at the Marion County Jail on Sunday.
