DALLESPORT, Wash. -- Several volunteer fire agencies were called in to deal with a fire along State Route 14 on Wednesday.

The fire is burning near the small town of Dallesport, which is located on the Washington side of the Columbia River, across from The Dalles.

There's no official word on the size of the fire or if it is threatening any buildings.

Officials said a call has gone out for all nearby firefighters and departments to respond to the area.
