MILWAUKIE, Ore. -- Deputies said they used a Taser on a man before arresting him in connection with a bank robbery.Donnie Mincher, 43, of Molalla, was arrested after fleeing from law enforcement officials who saw him leaving the scene of a bank robbery, Clackamas County deputies said.Deputies responded to the Bank of America at about 1:15 p.m. Thursday at 15005 SE McLoughlin Blvd. in Milwaukie to find a brown full-size Dodge 4x4 pickup truck driving away from the scene, Detective Jim Strovink said.Mincher didn't stop when deputies turned on their emergency lights, and they began to pursue him onto Interstate 205 northbound, Strovink said. While they pursued Mincher, deputies saw him discarding money out of the window of his truck, Strovink said. The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office closed all northbound I-205 traffic ahead of Mincher, forcing him to abandon his truck, Strovink said.Strovink said this forced the fleeing suspect to pull to the right shoulder of the northbound lanes of I-205 and abandon his truck in the area of Southeast Jannsen. As Mincher tried to climb over a fence, an Oregon City police officer fired his Taser, which allowed law enforcement to take him into custody, Strovink said.Mincher was arrested on charges of first-degree robbery.Anyone with information about the ongoing criminal investigation should contact the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office's confidential tip line at 503-723-4949.View Photos Of The Arrest
