SALEM, Ore. -- A teenage boy skateboarding in Salem was seriously injured when he was struck by a car Tuesday, police said.Isaac Haskins, 14, was riding his skateboard down a hill on Taybin Road Northwest when he lost control and entered an intersection at Wallace Road, Salem officers said.A southbound Dodge Dart driven by 19-year-old Tanner Salem then struck Haskins, injuring him, police said.A Life Flight helicopter rushed Haskins to Doernbecher Hospital in Portland to be treated for life-threatening injuries.
No citations were issued to Salem in the wreck.Police are still investigating the collision.
