Police: Drunk Man Hits 6 Cars, Injures 1

Man Arrested On Charges Of DUII, Hit-And-Run

A man was arrested on charges of DUII after causing three crashes, police said.

Gladstone officers said they received a call of a road rage incident involving a 1973 Chevy pickup.

When police arrived at the scene the pickup was gone, but minutes later officers received a call for a crash that caused an injury involving the same truck, police said.

Soon after, a third call for a crash on Oatfield Road and 82nd Drive, police said.

Officers identified that the truck was owned by Tony Lee Ray, 31, and that he was headed home, police said.

Officers arrived at Ray's home as he was getting out of his truck, which he had just crashed into a parked trailer, police said.

During the string of crashes, Ray caused damage to six vehicles and sent one person to the hospital where she was treated and released, police said.

Ray was arrested on charges of DUII, reckless driving and felony hit-and-run.
