LEBANON, Ore. -- Workers at a pregnancy clinic in Lebanon that nearly burned to the ground last week said Monday that they plan to rebuild the center.Investigators ruled last week that the fire, which nearly destroyed the Pregnancy Alternative Center, was the result of arson. But so far, no suspects have been named in the case.Workers at the center are still trying to understand why anyone would set fire to their clinic. They said it's strange because they've never received any threats. The blaze broke out in the early morning hours of Sept. 10, destroying the Pregnancy Alternative Center's medical clinic. The building in Lebanon had just been expanded and was in the final stages of an extensive remodel when someone set it on fire. The center director said Monday that the fire is a huge setback and will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to rebuild. The Pregnancy Alternative Center has been around for nearly 20 years, offering counseling, support, housing and some medical treatment for women who are or believe they might be pregnant.Currently PAC helps hundreds of women every year in the Willamette Valley. The nonprofit is supported by about 20 churches and various donors and has nothing to do with abortion. The director said she can't understand why someone would set fire to the clinic unless they were confused."We're totally … blown away and that's what the community is struggling with. Why would someone do this?" said Director of the Pregnancy Alternative Center Debbie Tracy.Investigators said the fire was the result of arson but won't release details about how the fire started.Related: Arson Suspected In Pregnancy Clinic Fire
