UPDATED: 2:15 pm PDT September 25, 2008

Police arrested a man Tuesday who is accused of robbing a Bank of America in Vancouver earlier this month.

Vancouver police said Noah Goldman, 26, robbed a bank on Chkalov Drive on Sept. 11.

Detectives said they identified Goldman as a suspect earlier this month and issued a law enforcement bulletin.

According to the police department, Goldman was caught shoplifting at a Home Depot store in Jantzen Beach on Tuesday. When Portland officers arrived, they recognized him from the Vancouver police bulletin, authorities said.

A vehicle description included in that bulletin also matched a car parked at Home Depot when Goldman was arrested, police said.

Goldman was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on a charge of robbery.
