Two robbers held a man at knifepoint as he left his home for work early Thursday morning in Gladstone.

The attackers forced the man back into his home in the 100 block of Cornell Avenue and then went from room to room, stealing items of value, police said.

The robbery occurred at about 3 a.m.

Police said the robbers took off, but the victim saw them leave on a motorcycle.

Neighbors said they saw the motorcycle parked in the area as early as 9 p.m. Wednesday. However, the make and model of the motorcycle is unknown and police said they do not have a license plate number.

The victim said the two robbers were white men whom he had never seen before. No other description was available Thursday morning.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Gladstone police at 503-557-2762.
