Deputies said they arrested a man on drug charges after they found about 4,000 pills of Ecstasy in a secret compartment of his car during a traffic stop.

Deputy Paul McRedmond of the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office said that more than two pounds of ecstasy was wrapped in a diaper and hidden in a specially modified center console compartment.

During the search, deputies found the drugs and arrested Ramirez-Sanchez on charges of possession and distribution of Ecstasy, McRedmond said.

Ramirez-Sanchez was also being held on an immigration hold for being in the country illegally, McRedmond said.
