HILLSBORO, Ore. -- Hillsboro police officers were called to a shooting Saturday afternoon.

Police said the shooting occurred at 4:19 p.m. on Walnut Street between 13th and 14th Avenue.

Before officers could arrive, the victim showed up at Tuality Hospital. He was then taken to Oregon Health & Science University by an ambulance.

The extent of the 22-year-old man's injuries is unknown. Police said he and the shooter may have known each other prior to the incident.

Witnesses described the shooter is a Hispanic man in his early 20s. He was last seen wearing a plaid hooded sweatshirt and capri-style pants.
